A 2023 social-media screenshot says these scores are enough for Ahpra.
For Australian health registration, do not prepare from an old English-score screenshot.
A score table shared last year can be accurate for its date and still be the wrong basis for a 2026 registration decision. Ahpra states that changes to accepted-test minimum scores took effect in April 2026, so current verification matters.

Begin on the current Ahpra English-language-skills page for your profession. Write down the accepted test, minimum component rules, test-mode restrictions, combining conditions and dates. Then build preparation around the chosen test’s actual tasks.
Do not accept advice until you can see what changes in the response.
This is a QuickTalk Tutor practice example, not official test material and not a promised score. The criterion claim is checked against the official sources listed later in this article.
A screenshot has no current authority and may omit the profession, test sitting, component or combination conditions.
I will use the current Ahpra English language skills standard and my National Board’s page, then record the exact evidence pathway that applies to me.
The meaning remains the learner’s. The job of the correction is to make that meaning clearer and more effective. One sentence alone cannot guarantee an OET grade.
Create a four-column check: authority, accepted test, required result and evidence date. If a claim has no current official link, do not use it to book.
If you can see the mistake but cannot identify what keeps causing it in your own work, the Diagnostic checks your exact route, skill, current criteria and target.
Country authority comes from current primary rules, not repeated blog tables.
Ahpra publishes the registration standard and an accepted-tests page. The applicable standard can depend on the National Board and the pathway used, so a generic “Australia score” can hide important conditions.
Once the administrative route is confirmed, diagnose the language performance separately. A learner who misses OET Writing purpose needs different teaching from a learner who loses PTE listening content or IELTS Reading time.
The public article deliberately does not freeze a score table that can become stale. The linked authority should be checked again immediately before booking and applying.
Use the current authority for the rule, then use your own unchanged work to decide what needs teaching.
Check the decision that is actually being made.
A useful diagnosis separates the parts of the performance before recommending more practice.

Make a dated registration checklist.
- Open the current Ahpra standard for your profession.
- Record the page date and every component condition.
- Complete one official sample for the realistic test options.
- Choose preparation only after the rule and performance evidence agree.
Transfer check
The decision remains safe when you can trace every requirement to a current Ahpra page.
Your words. Clearer and stronger, but still yours.
The work begins with the unchanged evidence, one clear priority and a practical correction. A fresh task then shows whether the change is available without copying the old answer.
Keep the original
Use the first response, recording or timing evidence.

Separate the strongest supported blocker from smaller issues.
Strengthen your words

Change the task
Use fresh material to check whether the improvement transfers.
